A little about me,this is hard......
I love all things creative: clothing, art, color, pattern, personalities. I hate anything routine. I'm a mom to two terrific tomboys. They keep me on my toes and continually challenge me to be a better person. I love seeing the beauty and uniqueness in each little person I am blessed to meet.

Back to the bribe. Ryan decided she needed payment to work today so what is nearer to a girl’s heart than Chocolate, and Hershey’s at that!

For younger kids and toddlers, comfort is key. If they are comfortable, it is easier to get them to relax and be themselves.
Sheila of Baby Go Retro makes some of the cutest, kitchiest kids clothes with a vintage flair for both boys and girls.
We’ve also been MJ fans for a while. Ryan is the lucky recipient of Tate’s older MJ hand-me-downs.
The most frequent question I get asked is what to wear to a session. Simple solids and layering are always good. You want to remember your child and have them be the focus, not the outfit. Let teens and older kids pick their favorites. You want to remember them as they are. That being said, I adore unique kid’s boutique clothing and have some definite favorites.
My 10 year old, soccer playing, dirt bike riding tomboy chose Matilda Jane for her school pictures. She loves their uniqueness, comfort and style.

Sunday’s warm temperatures were such a tease of Spring & Summer. We shot this so sweet summer ensemble by Baby Go Retro taking advantage of the warm temperatures.
I was finally able to meet up with this little charmer. What an adorable little one who is so obviously cherished.
I quickly peaked at this session and this jumped out at me.
It was a pleasure meeting you all.
After all this ice and snow, it was SO fun to get out and dream of warm, sunny weather in this adorable set from BabyGoRetro.
Ry’s hair is getting so long but we had fun doing a faux french braid with her trash ties from Heather Bailey. Thanks Miranda for the tip on them.
