Shooting for Me: Retrospective

I absolutely love shooting commercial work. Most of my clients give me complete creative freedom and I have so much fun deciding how and where and when to shoot. This is more of the fall line from Baby Go Retro. Check out her site, she just launched her fall line, Retrospective.
And introducing Miss A in her modeling debut. Isn’t she the cutest.

1st Day of School

Today was bittersweet as my youngest started Kindergarten. We tried to fill last week with as much fun as possible as a last blast before school: Amazonia opening, Vertical Escape rock climbing, swimming with friends at the pond, and the Sikeston Rodeo this weekend with Uncle Marty & Aunt Kelly. We didn’t get home and in bed until midnight last night!
Ry couldn’t settle down to sleep: she was nervous and excited at the same time.
Tate was all excited about starting Middle School and being allowed to wear flip-flops. Aunt Kelly helped with that by taking us shoe shopping on Saturday.
Here’s Ry outside before school this AM. All 30+ lbs of her. Her bookbag is bigger than she is and Tate loaded down with the first days supplies; we christened her “the bag lady.”

Grace under pressure

This little beauty was so much fun. I’d pick a place to shoot and then she’d have an idea of where and how I should photograph her. Miley Cyrus look out; if she isn’t starring, she’s going to be a director.
